NH Supreme Court Holds Hearing on Professional Conduct Amendment

On April 12th, the NH Supreme Court held a hearing regarding a proposed amendment to Rule 8.4(g) of the NH Rules of Professional Conduct for attorneys.  The proposed rule would make conduct that constitutes harassment and discrimination on the basis of a protected category a violation of the ethical rule. Attorneys Terri Pastori and Beth Deragon attended the hearing and spoke in favor of the amendment sharing their experiences and opinions about the proposed amendment to the rule. The hearing was well attended by attorneys, many of whom also spoke in support of the amendment.  A link to the NH Bar News coverage of the hearing is attached here.
